Austin, Texas high-octane rockers High Desert Queen's sole aim is to make the kind of music they'd proudly file on their own record shelves alongside Queens of the Stone Age, Tom Waits, Elder and The Allman Brothers. Well on their way to establishing themselves as one of the hardest working rock bands on the Austin music scene in an extremely short time-frame, the band pulled togher their first dozen songs in less than a year, while rapidly gaining notice for shows that never deliver the same experience twice. Undeterred by a series of COVID-related setbacks, High Desert Queen completed recording of their debut album with Jeff Henson (Duel) at Red Nova Ranch studios in Austin, TX, and are ready to bring it barreling forth to the people just two years since the band's formation.
